The Gomez family holds the world record for the hairiest family ever recorded. Around 98 percent of their bodies are covered in hair, from head to toe.This is not a choice or a style.
It is caused by a rare condition called Congenital Generalized Hypertrichosis. It runs through five generations of the family, affecting 19 members in total.
The women usually grow lighter hair, while the men grow thick hair all over their bodies. Scientists have studied their genes with the family’s permission, hoping to learn more about this rare condition.
02) The Man Who Put 100 Candles in His Mouth

Lighting a candle is normal. Putting one in your mouth is not. But David Rush took it far beyond that.
During a TEDx talk in Idaho in April 2019, he calmly held and lit 100 candles inside his mouth at the same time.
